Installations

Cafeteria into puppet workshop, street corner into stage—I transform spaces all the time, but rarely is it called “an installation.” I’m excited about altering the way people experience a space, changing their expectations about what they might encounter in a room. I haven’t done a lot of official installations, but I’m itching to do more. As much as I love performing puppet shows, I’m equally interested in the creation of art that lives on without me there to animate it. Whether it’s the viewer who pulls strings to flap bird wings or the person who experiences a hallway as a mole tunnel or an intestine or something else…
